AVLIC Code of Ethics 1.2 Professional Conduct

1.2.6 Members are accountable to AVLIC and to their local chapter affiliate for their professional and ethical conduct. Further, members are responsible to discuss and resolve, in a professional manner, issues arising from breaches of ethical or professional conduct on the part of individual colleagues after they are observed. In the case where these breaches are potentially harmful to others or chronic, and attempts to resolve the issue have not been successful, such conduct should be reported to AVLIC and/or their local chapter affiliate in a manner directed by the appropriate grievance procedure.

ACRID AGM Workshop- Stress Management and Confilct Resolution:

Workshop Overview

This workshop is based on the introductory session which is a pre-requisite. This dynamic presentation provides insights (ah-ha! learning) and humour (ha-ha! learning) as participants use the Stress Management Cards to work individually, in pairs and in small group activities to:

1) To understand bright colour esteem needs, stressors and shadow characteristics.
2) To understand pale colour challenges, stressors and shadow characteristics.
3) To understand fight/flight dynamics.
4) To understand the key to great communication and esteem management.
5) To implement solutions for stress management and conflict resolution.

This rapid, exciting and long-lasting learning experience is presented and conducted in a positive atmosphere of respect, fun and entertainment. Lets learn to use our colours to better communicate with each other.
